Celtec Membrane for High Temperature PEM-Fuel Cell

Celtec-P membrane can be used for PEM fuel cells, and Celtec-Z membrane for HCL-electrolysis, redox-flow-batteries and other electrochemical applications. BASF ECMS has developed a proprietary process to produce a proton-conductive membrane that can be used at temperatures of up to 180°C for robust fuel cell systems, hydrogen separation units, redox-flow-batteries, HCL electrolysis and other electrochemical applications.

Celtec Membrane Electrode Assemblies for High Temperature PEM-Fuel Cell

Celtec-P MEA are designed for stationary applications with reformed hydrogen. Celtec-Z MEA target high performance applications under pressure and at high current density. BASF ECMS has been manufacturing Celtec® MEAs for fuel cells for 20 years. Customers’, as well as in-house tests, have confirmed their long-term stability and high performance, even under demanding operating conditions.
