BASF ECMS Enclad® thermocouples deliver precision and durability across a broad range of demanding applications. Engineered with a rigorously controlled combination of select precious and base metal sheaths, high-purity ceramic insulation, and compatible precious metal thermocouple wires, each assembly is built for long-lasting, high-performance temperature sensing. With bendable, rugged construction, Enclad® products are ideal for reaching challenging locations without compromising accuracy or stability.

Sheath Material Options and Temperature Ratings:

  • Platinum (Pt): up to 1200°C
  • ODS Platinum: up to 1600°C
  • Pt-10% Rhodium: up to 1500°C
  • Pt-20% Rhodium: up to 1650°C
  • Inconel® 600: up to 800°C

Thermocouple Types:

  • Type S & R: Excellent stability up to 1400°C
  • Type B: Superior stability and sensitivity up to 1750°C

Construction Features:

  • High-purity ceramic insulation
  • Bendable for hard-to-reach installations
  • Precision assembly for rigorous industrial use
