Y&H named as agent for BASF Temperature Sensing solutions in Türkiye
- Agreement covers BASF Temperature Sensing solutions for the glass industry in Türkiye
- Solutions include optical pyrometers, thermocouples and calibration services, plus recycling spent thermocouples
Effective March 30, 2023, Y&H Foreign Trade Ltd., a leading solution provider for greenfield and brownfield glass plant projects, has been named the agent for BASF's Temperature Sensing solutions for the glass industry in Türkiye. With this agreement, BASF and Y&H will be able to better serve customers with a wide range of leading temperature sensing solutions.

BASF precious metal thermocouples and EXACTUS® optical pyrometers are used in a wide range of glass industry segments including container glass, tableware glass, fiberglass, tubing, float glass and specialty glass. BASF has received ISO-17025 certification for thermocouple production at the Fremont, California site.
