BASF Catalyst H0-41 S3 was developed for the liquid phase selective hydrogenation of acetylenes and butadiene in C4 cuts, e. g. BASF’s SELOP® C4 process.
The catalyst shows very low overhydrogenation. It can be applied for butene production from feed streams containing butadiene. With H0-41 S3, it is possible to change the butene-2/butene-1 ratio in a broad range.
